As dog-people ourselves, we understand the joy our pets bring to our lives, and how much more fun it can be to share one’s mountain retreat with our furry friends. In that, we have made our properties dog-friendly. If you’d like to travel with your dogs, we are more than heppy to accomodate, but we do ask that all guests traveling with their dogs adhere to our pet policy, so that we can continue to open our homes to your four-legged friends.

House Rules

  • Dogs under the age of 9 months (puppies) are not permitted, due to tendancy to chew or have accidents
  • Dogs are not allowed on beds, couches, or other upholstered furniture, without first protecting the furniture with one of our dog-friendly blankets
  • Dogs are not to be left at the property alone without adult supervision, unless securely crated in a designated area
  • Animals other than dogs (cats, birds, reptiles, fish, etc.) are not permitted at this time.

Conduct

  • Guests are responsible for the behavior and well-being of their pets during their stay.
  • Pets must not create excessive noise (barking) that disturbs neighbors or other guests.
  • For the safety of your animal and the community, Please leash your dog during all walks through the community
  • Pets must not cause any damage to the property or its furnishings.
  • Guests must promptly clean up after their pets, both inside and outside the property.
  • You are free to bring your own dog bed, crates, or other items that your dog may need.

Fees

  • A one-time fee of $150.00 will be required for a single dog, or $250.00 for two dogs. (Service dogs are exempt from any fees)
  • Guests wishing to travel with more than two dogs, will need to discuss their needs with the host, and request special approval
  • All pet fees are due before arrival / check-in
  • Pet fees are fully refundable for all cancellations, up until the day of check-in. Once an animal has entered the home, no pet fees shall be refunded

Violations

  • Failure to comply with these pet policies may result in additional fees or early termination of the stay.
  • Failure to disclose the presence of any animals or pets joining your stay may result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

Additional Considerations

  • We may have breed restrictions in place. Please inquire about specific breed restrictions before booking.
  • Service Animals: Service animals are welcome without additional fees, provided they are properly trained, certified, and able to comply with our pet policy
